Music Festival: Staind, Motely Crue, Skillet, Seether To Play Rocklahoma

Tis the season of the music festival, and the lastest in a string of announcements (ala Rock on the Range, Lollapalooza) is Rocklahoma. Rocklahoma happens Memorial Day Weekend, May27-29, at “Catch the Fever” Festival Ground in Pryor, Okla. In its fifth year, the three-day camp and music festival brings together new rock and classic rock, in one rockin’ place.

Lollapalooza 2011: Eminem, Foo Fighters, Muse, Crystal Castles

Oh, baby. Lollapalooza celetrates its 20th birthday this year (much like Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews, to boot), and they’re doing it in style. While the full line-up drops in April, The Chicago Tribune‘s Greg Kot reports the music festival has already booked headliners Eminem, Foo Fighters, Muse, Best Coast, Girl Talk, Lykke Li and Crystal Castles, the latter who has collaborated with Robert Smith of The Cure.
