Matt Tuck from Bullet for My Valentine tweets update from recording studio

Welsh metal men Bullet for My Valentine are currently recording their fourth studio album, the follow-up to “Fever,” in a Thailand studio, and according to Matt Tuck, the guys are already finished with the first phase of recording. Now, they’re taking a break and heading back home for a refresher before moving into phase two.

“Just about to leave the studio here in Thailand to go back home for a couple of weeks off. Album 4, phase 1 nailed!! MT.” Tuck tweeted this morning (March 12). Fans responded enthusiastically. “@bfmvofficial enjoy your time off guys! Have a safe journey back to the UK! Xx” stated @BulletsGP, among many other replies.

During Bullet’s 2011 Uproar Tour in the U.S. last summer, lead guitarist Michael “Padge” Paget explained to Audio Ink Radio the experience of his first time coming to North America. “It was awesome, especially the first time we went there, because I had never been there before,” he said. “You kind of imagine it’s going to be like what you see in the movies, and it is, and everyone is really cool and friendly. But you just go out there and play guitar, and then it starts to feel more like a home show.” Even at that point, he knew a new album was on the horizon. ““After the Uproar Festival ends, we’re going to go home and take some time off, and if all goes well, we’ll have a new album out next year,” he promised.
