Rock News: Rock band The Foo Fighters release the official music video for, “Rope”
Dave Grohl and his rock band The Foo Fighters drop their seventh studio album, Wasting Light, April 12, and the guys just debuted the video via MTV. The high-energy rock video shows tons of live footage, and you can view it, below.
In addition, the Foo and alternative rock band Gorillaz will release exclusive album material on Record Store Day, April 16. Gorillaz tweeted that they will release their “iPad” album, The Fall, on a limited edition vinyl. The album will also be released on CD and as a digital download April 19.
As for the Foo Fighters, they’ll be releasing a limited edition vinyl disc of hard rock cover songs named, Medium Rare. In addition, the white limo that appears in the music video for “White Limo” will be stopping by independent record stores across the country, cranking out the music from their new album.
