Illuminato[u]r tour features modern metal

True Killswitch Engage fans are already acquainted with Times of Grace. The side project of dynamic Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz got together while Dutkiewicz was recovering after undergoing back surgery on tour. The project, which includes former Killswitch singer Jesse Leach, maintains the melodic style of Killswitch and a hint of metalcore, with a sprawling, less aggressive delivery. So, while Killswitch Engage fans may be the first to stumble upon Times of Grace, anyone who values modern metal and hard rock will likely find something to like here.

Times of Grace’s new album, The Hymn of a Broken Man, is currently out on Roadrunner Records. The band’s current line-up also includes Matt Bachand, guitarist of punk metal group Shadows Fall, holding down the lower end on bass.

Times of Grace are currently on a summer tour with Underoath, Stray From the Path and Letlive. The jaunt, called the Illuminato[u]r, runs through Aug. 12 in Columbus, Ohio. Times of Grace plays an additional show at DirtFest Music Festival Aug. 13 in Birch Run, Mich.
