Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce First Leg of U.S. Tour [Dates]

We’re with them! As in, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, of course. The renowned Los Angeles alternative rock band have announced the first dates of their upcoming U.S. tour in support of their new album, I’m With You, and the guys are hitting up arenas this time around.
Tickets go on sale Saturday (Dec. 3) for the shows listed below, and more shows are expected to drop soon. This is the band’s first proper North American tour since 2007, when they made the rounds backing 2006’s Stadium Arcadium, so needless to say, there’s lots of excitement here.
Anthony Kiedis and the guys are currently in Europe playing some shows. Meanwhile, the band’s new single off I’m With You, “Monarchy of Roses,” is jetting up the alternative rock radio chart. The song is currently No. 17 on the alternative chart, and it was the No. 1 most added song this past week. Judging by the success of the album’s first single, “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie,” which gave the Peppers their 12th No. 1 hit in the format, “Monarchy” should keep going up.
I’m With You marks the tenth studio album for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. All in all, they’ve pushed over 60 million albums and scored six Grammy Awards in their career, most recently “Best Rock Album” for Stadium Arcadium. The news of the Peppers finally visiting the U.S. with tracks off I’m With You is definitely great news to fans of their alternative funk-rock. Find the dates, below.
