Rock on the Range Announce 2012 Festival Dates
Rock on the Range is on for 2012
Rock on the Range 2012 organizers have announced details on the festival’s highly-anticipated, sixth annual showing. The weekend-long hard rock and metal festival is scheduled for Friday, May 18, Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Like last year, the show will set off with Rock on the Range’s Friday Night Party, which is free with each Rock on the Range weekend ticket purchase.
If you’re gunning to get someone on your Christmas list Rock on the Range 2012 tickets, the festival will offer pre-sale layaway weekend tickets starting on Cyber Monday (Nov. 28) at 10 a.m. EST via the festival’s official website. Weekend field general admission layaway tickets run $134.50 and stadium general admission tickets are $99.50, plus convenience fees and any additional charges. A four ticket minimum purchase is required for the layaway tickets. Regular tickets will go on sale in early 2012, as well.
What bands are coming to Rock on the Range 2012? Fans will have to wait until next year to find out the lineup, but judging by last year’s big headliners — including A Perfect Circle, Staind, P.O.D., Disturbed, Pop Evil, Art of Dying, Hollywood Undead, Black Veil Brides, Puddle of Mudd and more — the festival is sure to book a killer main stage round-up of bands. Rock on the Range 2011 pulled in over 70,000 hard rock and metal fans over the course of the three day weekend. The festival kicked off in 2007, and it’s grown exponentially every year since then. The event, which is presented by Right Arm Entertainment, AEG LIVE and Crew Stadium, features dozens of high-profile and up-and-coming heavy music bands performing on three stages in the heart of the Midwest.
