Band leader Maynard James Keenan says to expect new music from all of his projects – Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer – in the near future
Fans of all of Maynard James Keenan’s projects – Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer – will be happy to hear that new music is on the way from each of Keenan’s rock-fueled bands. Keenan recently took to Puscifer’s official Instagram page to break the news that “music is happening on all fronts,” including new music for Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer.
As for A Perfect Circle, the group recently announced it will release a special, limited edition box set called “A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo” on Nov. 26. The release, which lists at $149.95, will feature a live DVD, live CD, rarities, bonus tracks and more.
Regarding new Tool, last month, Keenan appeared on Marc Marons podcast show and, according to Antiquiet, gave this promising update on new Tool music: “I’m gonna stop by the rehearsal space today, in theory, having beaten them up going, ‘Please give me music, please give me music, please give me music, please give me music, please give me music.’ In theory, they have a CD for me today, to listen to some jams, so we can get this thing going.”
Only time will tell if the new music surfaces in the form of full albums from all of the bands, but for now, at least Keenan fans can rest easy that they’ll have lots of new goodies in their future.
