Slash with Myles Kennedy, Five Finger Death Punch, Nine Inch Nails Among 2018 Louder than Life Acts
The 2018 Louder than Life festival will feature a bevy of hard rock and metal acts
Louder than Life festival is back in 2018, and the festival is bigger than ever—literally. The fifth annual hard rock and metal festival will take place over three days, for the first time ever, following years as a two-day music festival. This year’s event will take place from Friday, Sept. 28, through Sunday, Sept. 30 at Champions Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
As for performers, the 2018 Louder than Life festival will feature headlining sets from Avenged Sevenfold and Limp Bizkit on Sept. 28; Five Finger Death Punch and Godsmack on Sept. 29; and Nine Inch Nails and Deftones on Sept. 30. Another big performer for the festival is Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, as this is one of Slash’s first announced solo gigs for 2018.
Additional artists and bands set to appear at the 2018 festival include Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Black Stone Cherry, Skillet, Underoath, Tremonti, Bad Wolves, Shinedown, Bush, Bullet for My Valentine, Hellyeah, Body Count, Pop Evil, Sevendust, Ice Cube, Primus, Billy Idol and the Sword, among many more. Acts will perform on three stages throughout the festival.
Benjamin Burnley of Breaking Benjamin commented, “We’re excited to come back to Louisville for Louder Than Life 2018 and play songs from our new album “Ember” for the first time in Kentucky,” Benjamin Burnley of Breaking Benjamin said in a statement.
In addition to the live music, Louder than Life offers a wide variety of bourbons, whiskey, spirits and craft beer, in Louisville tradition, and gourmet Louisville food.
