Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters falls of the stage in Gothenburg, Sweden, again– kind of

Remember that time Dave Grohl fell off the stage during a Foo Fighters show in Gothenburg, Sweden, resulting in Grohl breaking his leg? Well, fast-forward a few years later to now, and Grohl and the Foos are back on tour in Europe in support of their latest album, “Concrete and Gold.” The guys performed at Ullevi Stadium in Sweden yesterday (June 5), which is the exact same venue where Grohl broke his leg falling offstage on tour in 2015.

Well, it happened again– kind of. Back at the Gothenburg venue, Grohl and company fooled the audience, sending out a stuntman jump off the catwalk as the show began. At first, the audience exploded with excitement as each member of the Foo Fighters slowly came onstage leading up to Grohl’s big entrance. Grohl engered the stage, wearing all black, and ran to the catwalk, taking a major fall off the side of the platform to the floor.

The audience, of course, was in shock. Quickly after the spill, the real Grohl ran onstage and it becomes obvious the man on the floor is a stuntman. The camera goes from the stuntman back to the stage, and Grohl is there, leaning ahead with his foot on the monitor. The Foos posted footage of the whole incident on their Facebook page. Watch it below.

Grohl actually did fall during a show that happened earlier on the tour during a show at Florida’s Welcome to Rockville. Thankfully, it wasn’t serious. Grohl’s broken leg three years ago resulted in him having to tour in a cast, staying seated in a special throne of guitars.
