London audiences got a treat last weekend when former Killswitch Engage singer Howard Jones joined the band on tour

Killswitch Engage shared the stage once again with former frontman Howard Jones during the group’s two concerts in London earlier this month.

During both shows, Jones appeared on the stage to perform “The End of Heartache,” the breakout single from Killswitch Engage’s 2004 studio album by the same name. Some fan-filmed footage of both shows is available on YouTube.

“Nothing but respect for my dude Howard,” the band’s current lead singer, Jesse Leach, stated in an Instagram post. “It was rad to share the stage with him…and hear him belt out ‘End of Heartache!’ What a voice!”

Jones joined Killswitch Engage after the band’s original vocalist, Leach, left the group in 2002. He served as the lead singer of the band for a decade and stepped away in 2012. At that point, Leach rejoined Killswitch.

Fans will get to hear more of Jones, too. Killswitch Engage previously revealed that they have already recorded a new song with Jones that will appear on their upcoming next album, which will mark the follow-up to 2016’s “Incarnate.” It will be Jones’ first time appearing on a Killswitch Engage album since his departure.

Jones is still making music outside of Killswitch. He currently fronts the group Light the Torch.
