Sevendust Guitarist Clint Lowery Announces New Solo Album, ‘God Bless the Renegades’
Clint Lowery of Sevendust is prepping his debut solo album, “God Bless the Renegades,” and has released the first single off the set, “Kings”
Earlier this year, Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery broke the news to Audio Ink that he was working on his debut solo album, and now, he’s ready to unleash it to the world. Lowery will release his debut solo album, the 10-song “God Bless the Renegades,” on Jan. 31 via Rise Records.
In addition to the album news, Lowery has released the first single from the album, a guitar-heavy track called “Kings,” which is available now via the usual digital outlets.
“‘Kings’ is the song that expresses redemption after a very dark chapter of my life,” Lowery said in a statement. “Through the chaos of addiction, navigating toxic relationships, and depression, I came out of it all empowered and more driven than ever.”
Lowery recorded “God Bless the Renegades” with producer and co-writer Michael “Elvis” Baskette, who has worked with Slash and Alter Bridge, at Studio Barbarosa in Florida.
In other news, Sevendust has been writing and recording the band’s new album, which will mark their follow-up to 2018’s “All I See Is War.”
