Jesse Leach and Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage are back with a new Times of Grace album

Times of Grace are back with new music. The band, which features Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach and guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, has announced a new album, which will mark their sophomore follow-up to Times of Grace’s 2011 debut, “The Hymn of a Broken Man.”

The new album, titled “Songs of Loss and Separation,” will arrive July 16 on the group’s own imprint label, Wicked Good Records, distributed via ADA Worldwide. The album’s lead single, “The Burden of Belief,” is now available to stream and download via digital platforms. Watch the music video for the new song, which was directed by Nick Hipa of Wovenwar and As I Lay Dying, below.

“This song is the spark of the oncoming fire. It foreshadows the journey of this album,” Leach said of the new single in a statement. “This song is an unveiling of who we, Times of Grace, have become after all of these years. This is a testimony of falling apart, losing faith, letting go, and the desire to kill and purge the past. It is the unraveling, the catharsis and the rebirth. So it begins.”

Dutkiewicz added that “it almost feels strange finally releasing the songs on this record,” especially “The Burden of Belief.

“I started writing this song over 10 years ago, so it’s been around for quite some time,” Dutkiewicz continued. “I really hope you guys dig it, and I hope we will get the opportunity to play it for you guys live someday. Thanks, everyone!”

Killswitch Engage released their most recent album in 2019, “Atonement.”
