Halestorm Vocalist Lzzy Hale Says New Album is a ‘Beast’
Lzzy Hale says making the upcoming new album from Halestorm was “maddening,” but in the end, it’s a “beast”
It’s already been a while ride for Halestorm this year, as the rock band’s tour bus burned down while the band was on tour earlier this month. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, according to a post on Halestorm’s official Instagram page, but it was quite the scare.
In additon, Halestorm were ecently forced to cancel their 2022 European “Evening With” tour, which was scheduled to set off on Feb. 1 in Frankfurt, Germany, and run through March 13 in London, United Kingdom. The cancelation was “due to the different restrictions in all of the countries” they were going to hit on the trek.
At least Halestorm and their fans have new music to look forward to in 2022. Lead vocalist Lzzy Hale has shared some news about the new album via social media, including photos on Instagram of her with guitarist Joe Hottinger, showing them celebrating the final mixes of the new set. “I’m so proud of this album. It was the most difficult, maddening, and rewarding process yet. Y’all ain’t ready for this beast,” she stated.
In a separate (Dec. 18), Hale Instagram post, Hale showed photo of her listening to the final album after it was fully mixed and mastered. “I’m so grateful to my entire team for their incredible hard work, passion and patience,” she said. “I’m also grateful for my bandmates that stepped up to make this album magic. I can’t wait to unleash this beast into the world.”
The upcoming Halestorm album will mark some firsts for the band; notably, it will be the first time Halestorm uses two producers to make a record. This time around, they with Nick Raskulinecz, who also produced Halesotrm’s “ReAniMate 3.0: The CoVeRs eP” and “Vicious,” as well as the Exies’ Scott Stevens for the vocals. The band also recently scored its sixth No. 1 at rock radio hit with “Back From The Dead.”
