Sevendust to Honor 21st Anniversary of ‘Animosity’ with U.S. Tour

Sevendust have announced a 2022 tour to celebrate the 21st anniversary of their “Animosity” record

Sevendust are off to the races in 2022, as the Atlanta metal band has announced a cross-country tour in support in the 21st anniversary of the band’s legendary “Animosity” album. The trek will feature support from two up-and-coming metal bands: Tetrarch and Dead Poet Society.

“Animosity” was an important album for Sevendust, as it spawned two of their early singles, “Angel’s Son” and “Praise,” and introduced LJ Witherspoon’s soulful voice to a new generation of rock and metal fans. The record arrive on Nov. 13, 2001, and peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard 200 chart. It remained on the chart for 13 weeks. In 2002, the album was certified gold by the RIAA.

Sevendust’s “Animosity” 21st anniversary tour will set off on March 4 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and run through a March 27 date in Nashville, Tennessee on March 27. Check out the full list of tour dates below. Tickets are on sale now. For ticket information, visit Sevendust’s website.

Dead Poet Society are touring behind their debut album, “-!-,” which arrived in 2021. Tetrarch are touring in support of their sophomore album, “Unstable,” which also arrived last year. Tetrarch will serve as direct support to Sevendust.
