The Stadium Tour is making its way around the world
Motley Crue and Def Leppard recently wrapped up the latest leg of their North America tour, and now, the bands are taking that co-headlining tour across the globe in 2023. The two groups have announced dates in Mexico, South America, the UK and Europe.
The new tour dates set off Feb. 18 and 21 with concerts in Mexico City and Monterrey, respectively. From there, the band will reach South America in late February and tour that country through mid-March. Next, the groups will visit the UK and Europe from late May until early July.
Motley Crue and Def Leppard finally set off on their North American “Stadium Tour” this past June after not one but two delays due to the pandemic. The trek, which also featured Poison and Joan Jett, was a massive success, totaling a whopping $173.5 million in ticket sales.
“We had an incredible time playing The Stadium Tour in North America this summer and we truly can’t wait to take the show around the globe with The World Tour in 2023,” Motley Crue said in a statement. “Crueheads in Latin America and Europe: Get ready!!”
Tickets for the UK and Europe dates go on sale starting Oct. 28, with pre-sales starting October 25. For dates in Mexico and South America, tickets go on sale Oct. 27, with pre-sales beginning Oct. 21.
