Deftones’ Dia De Los Deftones Festival is Sold Out, Again
Dia De Los Deftones 2023 will feature performances by 100 Gecs, Knocked Loose, Doechii, Pinback and more
Deftones may not be super active right now, but they still head up a major music festival every year. The longstanding alternative metal band has announced the fourth year of their Dia De Los Deftones festival, which will take place Nov. 4 at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
One thing that really stands out about this festival is the variety it offers. Per usual, this year’s Dia De Los Deftones lineup will feature a wide range of musical artists and bands, including 100 Gecs, Knocked Loose, Doechii, Pinback, Pieri, Rile and Capra. As always, Deftones will headline the show. Moreover, the festival is also open to all ages.
Those hoping to go this year who don’t have tickets yet are out of luck. That’s because the festival is already sold out. Festival organizers announced the news on Instagram not long after tickets want on sale, stating, “Thank you. We look forward to seeing you in November.”
While not all bands have succeeded in launching their own music festivals, Deftones are seeing a lot of success with this event. In addition to selling out this year, the event also sold out last year. The 2022 lineup featured a varied bill, including Turnstile, Phantogram and Freddie Gibbs, to name a few. What’s more, this year’s festival will once again happen on two stages at Petco Park. In addition, the park’s concourse will feature art installations, local vendors, special merchandise and additional attractions. For more information on the festival, visit the event’s Instagram page here.
“On its two stages, Dia De Los Deftones showcases artists across the spectrum of culture, encompassing hip-hop, electronic, indie, alternative and metal,” Live Nation said regarding the festival in a statement. “Inviting complete immersion and an inimitable experience, its concourse comprises art installations, local vendors, exclusive merchandise and more.”
In other news, Deftones singer Chino Moreno has been active with his side project, Crosses, this year. The dark wave project also features Far guitarist Shaun Lopez. For more on Crosses, visit their official website.
