‘Tis the season for tour announcements, and this season is shaping up to be a very busy one when it comes to live music. Now, Las Vegas hard rockers Five Finger Death Punch have announced massive headlining U.S. tour this summer and fall. For support, they’re bringing on two big names in Marilyn Manson and Slaughter to Prevail.

The tour will kick off on Aug. 2, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and run through a Spt. 19 date in Houston, TX. Pre-sales for the tour will being this Monday (March 11) at 10 a.m. EST. Then, general ticket sales will start Friday (March 15) at 10 a.m. local time via Five Finger Death Punch’s official website.

Five Finger are touring behind their ninth studio album, “Afterlife.” The band’s label, Better Noise Music, is also releasing “Afterlife” as a digital deluxe edition on April 5. According to a release, “The deluxe version includes the original 12 tracks recorded with the band’s longtime producer Kevin Churko in addition to four bonus tracks.” Those bonus tracks are acoustic versions of the album’s popular songs “The End,” “Judgement Day” and “Thanks for Asking.” In addition, the set features a brand new song, “This is the Way,” featuring the famed late rapper DMX.

I think it’s awesome to see Five Finger crossing genres to include this DMX collaboration. These posthumous collaboration can be creepy, but it’s also nice to hear a voice who has been gone for a while. In addition, Five Finger will release the official music video for “This Is The Way” (feat. DMX) in conjunction with the release of the deluxe edition of “Afterlife” on April 5. Famed filmmaker Hype Williams directed the clip. He’s a “longtime friend and close collaborator of the late DMX who’s also known for his seminal work with luminaries like Tupac, Wu-Tang Clan, and Jay-Z amongst others,” according to a release.

“Afterlife: Deluxe” is available for pre-save here.

Also, before Five Finger hits the road on this U.S. tour, the group will be Europe, performing in stadiums as support for Metallica on their M72 World Tour. The band also has some headlining shows with special guest Ice Nine Kills in Europe and at several festivals. Find more information on the band’s European tour roster here.
