Nothing More have a new album on the way, and on it, they’re packing some surprises. For one, the rock band has joined forces with Disturbed vocalist David Draiman for a new song. The track is called “Angel Song” and features Draiman’s powerful, very recognizable vocals alongside Nothing More singer Jonny Hawkins’ equally recognizable pipes.

“Angel Song” will appear on Nothing More‘s upcoming new album, “Carnal,” which will hit stores on June 28 via Better Noise Music. There’s lots of anticipation surrounding the new release, since Nothing More’s last studio album, “Spirits,” dropped in 2022 and scored the band more than a few hits. While the band dates back to the mid-2000s, they didn’t really hit it big until their 2014 radio hit, “This Is the Time (Ballast).” Over the years, they’ve built up a solid fanbase, so expectations are high for this latest release.

Having Draiman on Nothing More’s new track will just attract more attention. With Disturbed, Draiman has sold more than 17 million records worldwide, scored five RIAA Platinum releases and received three Grammy Awards nominations. This isn’t Draiman’s first collaboration, either, as lately, he’s been doing collabs with everyone from Ann Wilson to Nita Strauss of Alice Cooper’s band. He also sang at Strauss’ recent wedding.

“The power of the track is undeniable,” Draiman said in a statement about “Angel Song.” He added, “I’ve been a fan of the band since the very beginning.”

“‘Angel Song’ is the haunting sound of our past selves melting into a future that is as bright as it is dark,” Nothing More frontman Jonny Hawkins added in a statement about “Angel Song.” “Our animal nature is getting more and more chewed up by society and our souls swallowed by technology, but there’s something in us that wants to fight back. As the song was coming together in the studio, it became immediately clear to us that David Draiman’s voice would take it to another level. We’re so happy with the result.”

Nothing More are looking at a packed 2024 when it comes to touring. They’re currently on a co-headlining tour with Wage War with special guests Veil of Maya and Sleep Theory. They’ll close out that tour this Saturday (May 18) in Bloomington, Illinois. Nothing More will also serve as direct support on Godsmack’s upcoming summer tour, which beings in June and runs all the way through October. They’ll also appear at some music festivals this year, including Louder Than Life and Aftershock.

Nothing More recorded “Carnal” with Grammy-nominated producer WZRD BLD, who is no stranger to hard rock, as he’s worked with Disturbed, Motionless In White, A Day To Remember and more. Mixing and mastering was done by Zakk Cervini, who has worked with Limp Bizkit, MGK and Bring Me The Horizon. The album is currently available for pre-order.
