Firewind Announce First-Ever North American Tour
Ozzy Guitarist Gus G. Brings Firewind to the U.S.
Gus G.-headed Greek power metal band Firewind have announced a European trek with Wolf this September, followed by the band’s first-ever North American tour kicking off Oct. 9 in St. Petersburg, Fla. The U.S. jaunt includes openers Arsis, Nightrage and White Wizzard, and it takes the guys through stops in New York, Ohio, Illinois and Canada before closing out Oct. 27 in West Hollywood, Calif.
Gus G., who is also Ozzy Osbourne’s latest skinsman, recently chatted about stepping into the role of Ozzy’s guitarist and how it’s fueling his playing in Firewind. Read the interview via Audio Ink’s interviews page.
Firewind’s latest album, Days of Defiance, dropped last October, selling about 700 copies in the United States in its debut week of release.
Anyone who has seen Gus G. shred alongside Ozzy knows he’s worth checking out in a smaller venue. Find tour dates, below.
