Record Store Day Readies 2020 Daily Release Schedule
Record Store Day 2020 will bring exclusive vinyl releases from Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Skid Row, Def Leppard, U2, Motorhead and more
Record Store Day 2020 will be unlike any previous Record Store Day event, as the day is being divided into three separate “Records Store Day Drops” in an effort to keep crowds low amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This year’s Record Store Day happenings will take place on Aug. 29, Sept. 26 and Oct. 24. Each day will offer exclusive, limited-edition releases, which will be available only at locally-owned record shops around the U.S.
Aug. 29 will bring releases from Bastille, The Black Keys, Black Crowes, David Bowie, Gary Clark Jr., Biffy Clyro, Collective Soul, The Cure, Def Leppard, Dio, Billie Eilish, Glass Animals, Gorillaz, Brittany Howard, Judas Priest, Motorhead, New Order, Pink Floyd, Iggy Pop, Spoon and U2.
Sept. 26 will offer vinyl exclusives from Badflower, Black Crowes, Grouplove, Jimi Hendrix, The Ramones, The Replacements and Roger Waters.
Oct. 24, the final “Drop,” will feature releases from Asking Alexandria, Beck, Alice Cooper, Ice Nine Kills, Judas Priest, Keith Richards, The Rolling Stones and Skid Row.
As for releases from the rock and metal world, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Skid Row, Def Leppard, U2, Motorhead and Badflower are all getting involved with this year’s Record Store Day celebration. For the complete list of Record Store Day 2020 Drops and release dates, head to RecordStoreDay.com.
