Joseph R. Biden Jr. has secured enough electoral votes to become the 46th president of the United States, according to projections from Fox News, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Associated Press and beyond. Today (Nov. 7), Biden secured more than the 270 votes required from the Electoral College.

“I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and in Vice President-elect Harris,” Biden said in a statement. “In the face of unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted. Proving once again, that democracy beats deep in the heart of America.”

With Biden the President-elect and Sen. Kamala Harris the Vice President-elect, rockers took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the United States’ new leader.
