Alice Cooper Shares His Experience of Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine

Alice Cooper and his wife, Sheryl, both recently received the COVID-19 vaccine and are sharing their experience

Longtime shock rocker Alice Cooper recently received his vaccine for coronavirus (COVID-19) at the Abrazo West Campus hospital in Goodyear, Arizona, near a suburb of Phoenix. Now, the Coop is sharing his experience getting the vaccine and encouraging fans to do the same to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Cooper and his wife, Sheryl, both actually already had COVID-19 last year and recovered from the virus. Still, when given the chance to get vaccinated, they took it.

The shots were given to Cooper and his wife by Team Rubicon, a disaster relief organization led by veterans. Team Rubicon tweeted out a video of Cooper talking about his experience getting the vaccine, which can be viewed below.

“Getting the COVID shot with Team Rubicon was a great experience, everyone was really nice,” Cooper said, while adding, jokingly, that Team Rubicon was one of his favorite bands.

“Come out and get your shot! You don’t feel like you are in danger of anything and if you haven’t gotten your vaccine, come on out,” the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer added.

When he was at the Abrazo West Campus hospital, Cooper signed autographs and thanked the hospital staff and Team Rubicon volunteers for their service.

In other news, Cooper will release his new album, “Detroit Stories,” on Feb. 26. The album, which Cooper recorded with producer Bob Ezrin, is dedicated to the music of his hometown of Detroit. “Detroit Stories” will feature a bevy of special guest appearances, including the surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band, MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer, Mitch Ryder, Detroit Wheels drummer Johnny “Bee” Badanjek and more. Cooper also appears in the newly released “Rock Camp, The Movie,” which tells the story of how the legendary Rock ‘n Roll Fantasy began camp years ago and became an enterprise.
