Paramore have posted a sneak listen of their new single, ‘Now,’ on YouTube

Paramore have a new album on the way, and now, the band is giving fans a small taste of what they can expect from the upcoming set. The group — which currently features Hayley Williams on vocals, Jeremy Davis on bass guitar and Taylor York on lead and rhythm guitars — has posted an online video trailer for their song “Now,” which is the first single from their upcoming, self-titled release. Check out the trailer below.

The roughly one-minute video features a sampling of the new single, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage of the group recording their upcoming album. “Now” is set to hit radio and iTunes on Jan. 22, and the full-length album will follow on April 9.

Paramore recently stated that recording process for the upcoming album enabled them to “rediscover” themselves. “The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends,” they said. “It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people!”

One big change for Paramore on this upcoming release is the absence of brothers Josh Farro and Zac Farro, who left the group back in 2010. The brothers are currently involved in their own band, Nashville-based rockers Novel American.
