Foals’ ‘CCTV Sessions’ drops today (Nov. 29) as part of Record Store Day’s ‘Back to Black Friday’ incentives

It’s Black Friday, and the cats behind Record Store Day have put together a list of exclusive music releases only available at your locally-owned record shop. The idea is to support homegrown operations that help enrich the music culture with their small operations. Among these Record Store Day ‘Back to Black Friday’ releases is a special LP from Oxford, England-based post-punk, new wave group Fouls.

Today (Nov. 29), Foals release the “CCTV Sessions” via Warner Brothers. This limited-edition, 12-inch vinyl features audio from the band’s video series filmed using CCTV. The six-song set was engineered, mixed and filmed at Safehouse Studios by Kit Monteith, Tim Roberts and Jamie Morris.

Songs featured on the vinyl include “Milk & Black Spiders,” “Bad Habit,” “Stepson,” “Late Night,” “Bluebird” and “Moon.”

Other releases set to hit local shops today include vinyl collections from Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age and more. For the full list of releases and to find a participating shop in your area, visit the Record Store Day website.
