Black Stone Cherry are prepping a new live album and DVD/Blu-ray

Southern rockers Black Stone Cherry will release a new live album and DVD called “Thank You: Livin’ Live” this October. The set was filmed during Black Stone Cherry’s October 30, 2014, sold-out concert at the LG Arena in Birmingham, England.

“We are beyond excited to bring you all this live DVD,” guitarist Ben Wells said in a statement. “Growing up watching my Elvis and Aerosmith DVDs and VHS tapes, I never thought I would be in a band that would one day be releasing one — and in an arena at that!”

“Thank You: Livin’ Live” will be available via DVD, CD and Blu-ray on Oct. 30.

In other news, Black Stone Cherry were recently announced to be part of the lineup for the U.K.’s Carnival of Madness tour. The run – which also features Halestorm, Shinedown and Highly Suspect – will set off in January.
