Foo Fighters will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a tour visiting the cities they played in 1995

Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters have announced a North American headlining tour set for this spring. The tour is in honor of the 25th anniversary of the band’s self-titled debut album and will reach cities that the band played on their 1995 tour.

What makes this tour particularly special is that for each performance, the group will perform “in the round,” rocking a stage in the center of the venue, with the audience around them.

The tour will set off in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 12 and run through a May 20 show in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Tickets for the shows will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. local time this Friday, Feb. 21.

Foo Fighters are also slated to perform at a handful of music festivals this year, including the New Orleans Jazz Fest and Boston Calling.

As for new music, Grohl recently told The Ringer‘s Bill Simmons that the band’s follow-up to 2017’s “Concrete and Gold” is “finished.”
