Sixx:A.M., the band led by Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, has released a new version of their song “Maybe It’s Time,” featuring a bevy of rock artists

Nikki Sixx’s band Sixx:A.M. is back with a new song, “Maybe It’s Time,” featuring guest appearances from some big names in the rock world. The song, which features heavy guitars and powerful vocals, boasts guest spots from Def Leppard vocalist Joe Elliott, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, Slipknot and Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor and more.

The track is for a good cause, to boot. All artist royalties from the song’s airplay be donated to the Global Recovery Initiatives Foundation to help people recovering from substance use disorders.

“Maybe It’s Time” also features guest appearances from Five Finger Death Punch vocalist Ivan Moody, Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext, AWOLNATION and Brantley Gilbert.

“I am proud to bring together these artists to help raise funds for the Global Recovery Initiative Foundation,” Sixx said in a statement.

“The opioid epidemic did not go away when the pandemic came along,” he added. “Just the opposite…those in early recovery became even more at risk than before so it’s more important now than ever to raise awareness and support them. I really believe that united we can make a difference and save lives.”

The new edition of “Maybe It’s Time” is available for download now via digital outlets. The original version of the song first arrived on Sixx:A.M.’s latest album, 2016’s “Prayers for the Blessed.”
