Foo Fighters are celebrating their 26th anniversary with a late summer U.S. tour

Foo Fighters have announced a string of tour dates for this summer in celebration of the band’s 26th anniversary. The new tour dates will kick off July 28 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and run through an Aug. 9 date in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale this Friday (June 4) at 10 a.m. local venue time. For more ticket information, head to FooFighters.com.

Foo Fighters have also confirmed headlining appearances at the 2021 Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Bottlerock festivals. As for additional tour dates, a press release asks Foo Fighters fans to “keep a watchful eye” on the band’s website and socials for more shows to be announced.

Foo Fighters were slated to perform at arenas across the U.S. in 2020 on their 25th anniversary tour, but that trek was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the band is dubbing this their “26th anniversary” run.

Foo Fighters are touring behind their latest studio album, “Medicine at Midnight,” which dropped in February.

In other news, Foo Fighters were recently selected to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2021. That ceremony will take place this fall.
