No Doubt vocalist launches clothing line for kids

Gwen Stefani, longtime singer of alternative rock band No Doubt, has always been highly involved in fashion. If you’re a fan of her famed L.A.M.B. collections but wish that flair were available for little tykes, you’re in luck. Stefani has announced a new clothing collection with retailer Target called, “Harajuku Mini,” featuring items for ages 1-13. The collection will be available for babies, kids and teens, the line promises to blend Japanese street edge with an innocent sweet fragility.

Gwen recently said the Harajuku Mini collection “is a dream come true.”

“I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the super cute and playful kids clothing you find in Japan,” she stated, in a release. “The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality and having fun getting dressed.

“Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices.”

The uber-cool collection will be available starting Nov. 13, and prices will range from $3.99 to $29.99. As for No Doubt’s upcoming release, that’s still in the works and is slated to arrive in 2012.
