Korn Premiere New Song with Corey Taylor, ‘A Different World’

Corey Taylor and Korn collaboration on the track, ‘A Different World’
New Korn is here. The nu-metal titans have released a new song called “A Different World,” and the track features guest vocals from Stone Sour and Slipknot singe Corey Taylor. “A Different World” is streaming now via Metal Hammer.
When asked how the collaboration came together, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis described it had something to do with an accidental text message exchange.
“When I was working on this song, Corey texted (producer) Nick (Raskulinecz), and it popped in my head that he would be the perfect person to collaborate on the record,” Davis told Metal Hammer. “I’ve collaborated with everybody I’ve cared to collaborate with so far in my career, so it was hard trying to think of someone, but it so happened that Corey texted at the right time.”
It’s not the first time the guys have been in contact. “We’ve had a long relationship over the years,” Davis said of Taylor. “He’s a good guy and a great singer.”
“A Different World” will arrive on Korn’s upcoming album, “The Serenity of Suffering,” which is duo out Oct. 21.
